The Rohner Creek Flood Control, Habitat, and Seismic Improvement Project is a multi phased project which, ultimately, will provide for reduced flooding in the downtown area of Fortuna along Rohner Creek. At the end of the project, it is the City's hope that all properties currently in the Rohner Creek Flood Plain can be removed from the FEMA Flood Maps.

Rohner Creek Flood Control, Seismic and Habitat Improvement Project - BID PACKAGE Phase A & B
The project has four phases, of which two phases are to be complete by Fall of 2016. Vegetation clearing will be occurring in Fall 2015 during the non-nesting season.
Phases three and four will begin once funding has been secured.
